GREAT SHOW IN WILMINGTON
May 6, 2017
May 6th was the first of 3 scheduled CD release shows for Another Place, Another Time. Sadly, this will be the last time Lili witll perform at World Cafe Live in Wilmington as the venue will be closing on May 25th. Lili had an excellent run of shows performing there in the last several years. So, last night was a bit bittersweet. The energy in the room was especially high and Lili's opening act Darnell Miller rocked the house with his trio executing a mix of tastey soul and Hendrix type rockers. So, great night all around! Posted below is the first live video of "I Don't Care." Don't miss the double shot this Wednesday May 10th at South Jazz Parlor. Separate admission for 7pm and 9pm shows. Click HERE to purchase.

Lili Añel (pronounced Ahn-Yell) considers music a calling. The musical visionary grew up in New York City where she discovered her passion for music. As a child Añel remembers singing along to her mother's Cuban, jazz and pop standard albums. Her mother supported Lili’s desire to join the church choir and her grandfather's recognition of how much joy singing brought to her served to set her feet firmly on the path of a career in music.
